The Board of Trustees of The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia met on Wednesday, July 24, and received the Presidential Search Committee members.
We are grateful to each member of the Presidential Search Committee and believe this is a strong and vibrant team poised to help LTSP move into a strong future.
The Board of Trustees has identified a transition consultant, Dr. Stan Olson, President of Wartburg Theological Seminary, Dubuque, Iowa, to work with us through the next 16 months as we undertake the presidential search. His task is to help us envision the future to which God is calling us in a time of tremendous transition for theological education in this country. Dr. Olson will be on campus September 9 and 10, and will meet with various constituent groups at the seminary, including Dr. Krey's Executive Cabinet, Faculty, Staff, Students, Board of Trustees, and the Presidential Search Committee. Dr. Olson's full schedule will be published soon, and we encourage you to participate in a session if you can. Alumni, friends, and donors are also welcome to participate.
In addition to receiving the Presidential Search Committee members, the Board of Trustees continued the important work of considering future collaborations, partnerships, and ideas for revenue generation necessary to solidify a strong future for the seminary.
Thank you for your partnership in the Gospel at The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia.
The Rev. J. Elise Brown
